Speaker: Hervé Delingette, INRIA

Abstract:
There is an major evolution of the medical practice towards more quantitative and personalized procedures for prevention, diagnosis and therapy. With the development of medical imaging, physicians must face the challenge of integrating a large quantity of digital information to make decisions about the condition of a specific patient. Computerized tools are being developed to analyze those images and to help establish a diagnosis or plan a therapy.
