In windows xp you could modify system files. With the ideas of simplicity that came along with Vista, you were prevented from doing so, but there was a take ownership option for the advanced user. windows 7, as much as i love it, was missing this entirely! this video shows how to enable the take ownership option for windows 7. sorry for the choppy-ness, i got a 1920x1080 monitor and my computer just isnt so great at handling recording so much.
