MPGomatic.com puts a 2012 Nissan Juke SL to a grueling 600+ mile test drive. The model tested is a top-of-the-line, six-speed manual-equipped FWD Electric Blue SL (MSRP: $23,400).

The 2012 Nissan Juke is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter 16-valve Sequential Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) inline four-cylinder engine producing 188 horsepower (HP) and 177 foot pounds of torque. The Juke is available in front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD). A Continuously Variable automatic transmission (CVT) is fitted to both models, but a six-speed manual transmission is only available in FWD. The five-door hatchback is offered in three levels of trim: S, SV, and SL. This review delivers our standard start up, engine, and snappy yet in depth tour of features.

This review, like most of our reviews, includes our trademark MPGomatic 0-60 MPH acceleration test.

MPGomatic produces car review videos with a unique focus on gas mileage, in-cabin technology, and driveability.
