He got feeling, he's got heart and he's Brian Andersen, Comic Book Author. Host Diana Terranova learns his comics "So Super Duper" and "Friend of Dorthy" have changed the media's image of a superhero. Why can't we have a skinny gay teen superhero with fabulous ass-kicking shoes?

This year there has been much talk in the media about gay teens and suicide. It's like media has forgotten all the positive stuff about our teens and think of them as something "less than" just not important because they are gay.

Author Brian Andersen and host Diana Terranova discuss why life is precious and that sometimes you just have to be your own superhero, because in reality you sometime have to save yourself.

Having shared interests, whether it's the SyFy Channel, The Walking Dead or comic books, is a great way to meet new people and bond with your friends. Having hobbies you can blog about is a great way to feel like you are a part of something, even if you never leave the house!

Anderson also shares sneak peaks of his upcoming issues of Friend of "Dorthy" and teen superhero Scott-John and his boyfriend Mason.

Filmed on location at Wondercon 2011 with camera by Collier Landry and Produced by Diana Terranova. Many thanks to the fans and staff of Wondercon 2011, Preston Nesbit, Prism Comics and all the artists who work with Brian Andersen.
