Part 1 of 2 video's shot. Air Inlet on backside of stock cowling easily allows water to be ingested into motor. Any water on the TPS sensor will cause the motor to lose power completely. Bottom line is this, a cowling should NOT allow any kind of water to be so easily ingested inside!!!!! Regardless of hull type or boats speed. This particular boat at the time was running around 120 mph. There is another video in my library with the camera mounted on the motor showing the massive amount of water being sucked in. I have since purchased a carbon fiber fiber cowling through Dave Bush Racing that eliminates the chance of this happening and also allowing the motor to get more cool dense air which equals more power.Be sure to watch part 2 also!!!
