Brendan Rodgers has already made four summer signings with Sunderland's Simon Mignolet and City's Kolo Toure joined by the rising star Iago Aspas and the Sevilla midfielder Luis Alberto. But Liverpool need more and are looking for a left-back, another defender and a creative midfielder. Everybody knows all about their interest in the Shakhtar Dontesk star Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He is 24, he ended last season with a hatful of goals - 30 in all competitions - and he is a three-time Armenian player of the year. You can see why Liverpool want him. If, by some miracle, they hold on to Luis Suarez then Mkhitaryan's goals will defintely take the pressure off both the Uruguayan and the likes of Aspas, Coutinho and Sturridge.
