The show will focus on a team of paranormal investigators chasing current and past stories of dramatic paranormal activity within "The Uintah Basin". Interviews will be conducted with Ute Tribal members and neighboring Mormon residents and re-enactments will be computer generated while each story is told. Military and local Tribal and non-tribal law enforcement officials may also be interviewed. The teams key witnesses and paranormal advisor will be Terry & Gwen Sherman the original owners of the Skinwalker Ranch. Past and current events of paranormal activity will be actively explored in each episode. The team attempts to immerse themselves within the "hotspot" zones described by witnesses and conduct unique experiments in a vigorous effort to gather tangible proof while documenting the phenomena. Unlike other paranormal shows, The Basin will take both he experiments and the investigation to level much deeper than similar reality shows. For instance, the show strives to deliver to the audience actual proof of the paranormal in an attempt to dispel the notion that all reality paranormal shows never deliver hard evidence. Similar to the Les Stroud Survivor man show, Ryan Skinner (and Ron?) will be immersed in desert inhospitable hotzones alone with only a camera for days (if not weeks) until we either prove of disprove the validity of a witnesses claims, irregardless of how harsh or severe the surrounding terrain may be. Ron Milione has an impressive background regarding creative experimentation, and will be devising new and unique gadgets in an attempt to document any trace evidence of the phenomena. Ryan Skinner has an extensive history researching the basin for years and camping in some of the basin's most desolate locations. No stone will go unturned and no story will go unexplored in the teams attempt to discover the truth.
