The prototype lift is quite heavy, meant for smooth concrete rolling-about. Others have built cleverer gadgets that get the job done...
An other Bee Hive Lift. May be from him to shop on Hungary. Transport with courier service.
The UK Warré Beekeeping forum under Yahoo is a suitable place for discussion of technique, tips, anecdotes for this style of beekeeping. youtube squelches URLs under commentary, but a simple websearch will lead you there.

I'm all in favor of less invasive techniques, and I have learned this in practice with my own bees (the heavy Langstroth boxes I have now is the least optimal thing for gentle beekeeping). However, from the video I see that you live in quite dense urban/suburban place (likewise with my own hives), and I would like to know, what kind of problems/solutions you have had with swarming. For example, if you use bait-hives, how successful they are?
This lift can be a useful tool in general hive management. The same artificial and invasive techniques used in Langstrothism or with skeps could be applied, but whether such methods be acceptable and ethical by the beekeeper's standards is a another matter. Please search for "Beekeeping for Poets" at smashwords, Apple Books, of B&N Online.

Fine craftmanship! BTW. Is there any way to do splits or otherwise prevent swarming with Warre-hives?

Now, that's pretty neat. Don't ya wish ya would've moved that hive forward a foot or so? Great video, guys. Good job !
