Footage was filmed at 720p@60fps. After I hit record, I rotated the camera to set it upright. The source video exhibited severe compression artifacts as the camera was rotated. The source file had a variable average bitrate of 12.0 Mbps. Despite the Youtube compression, the grass really does look that bad in the source footage.
The first half of this clip is played back at half speed, and the second half of the clip was set to real time by discarding every other frame. The clip was processed with AVIsynth and encoded with x264 at maximum quality (placebo setting) to prevent further compression artifacts before it was uploaded to Youtube.
