FontLab VI has various kinds of points: corner, curve & tangent nodes, handles, anchors, smart corners, Genius points. The points are used to build segments, segments make contours, and they make shapes. In FontLab VI, glyphs are made of shapes, which can be shared between different glyphs. Every font is made of glyphs.

FontLab VI is our next-generation professional font editor, crafted for type designers and font geeks. FontLab VI is the only true cross-platform type design and font creation app, and a massive upgrade over our workhorse FontLab Studio 5.
