An ambitious research project is setting out to establish what it means to be Gibraltarian. 'Bordering on Britishness' will focus on Gibraltarians' experiences of the border with Spain. Researchers are set to start bilingual interviews this month; they're planning to speak to over 400 Gibraltarians from different backgrounds in a project set to take a number of years to compete.
GBC reporter Jonathan Scott spoke to Dr Andrew Canessa from the University of Essex, and the Director of the Garrison Library, Dr Jennifer Ballentine-Perera.
