IMPORTANT NOTE: A lot of people mistake that when I use the term tactical in a vid that I'm trying to suggest that that is something to go buy a knife for which is not correct. I mention tactical because if some1 is considering a knife & thinks it is suitable for emergency uses whether it be survival or defensive, that there are a lot of features it must have in my opinion to be legitimately safe.
Knife fighting, the legal aspects of self defense with a weapon & the subject overall is very complex so unless you have a deep understanding of the features necessary in a tactical folder I strongly advise considering using blunt or other non lethal but effective methods which are more safe to the user.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE WATCH STRIDER KNIVES EPIC FAIL VIDEO BEFORE CONSIDERING A STRIDER FOR PURCHASE.

ON THE TOPIC OF FOLDERS FOR SELF DEFENSE:
knife fighting is real if you're an expert. Combative edge guy is an instructor & he promotes his folder the M1 for knife tacitcal defense so it's a legitimate thing to use a folder. I know guys that train thru classes that work with folders. Heck even Hinderer hosts classes on it.

Note: Strider SNG CC G10 can flex so it's specifically this higher end custom they made that they used superior G10. Sad I know. Their CF isn't the best in my opinion either not compared to some stronger epoxies available.
