Welcome to Perky's Analog Gear Demos. Please subscribe for more demos of vintage & rare effects pedals!

Here's a rare one: the JAM Pedals Black Muck. Essentially a super-limited edition (only 100 made!) of their Red Muck fuzz, this pedal has some tasty 1960s NOS Silicon Transistors in it. JAM don't actually know what they are...! But compared to the standard Red Muck, they say that this pedal is more open, more aggressive & more harmonically complex. I think it sounds unbelievable!

What do you think? Comment below!

Guitar is a Fender Tele with Bare Knuckle pickups through a Cornell Romany Plus (recorded with a 57) and a Hughes & Kettner Puretone (recorded with an sE Electronics RNR1 Ribbon)
