Ever since walking on to the track and field team her freshman year, senior Julia Perry has grown to be a leader. Her senior season was her first as a member of the Lehigh women's cross country team, but that didn't stop her from placing first overall in her very first collegiate race. As the Patriot League Championships kick off in Hamilton, NY on Saturday, lehighsports.com caught up with Perry and head coach Deb Utesch, to see what impact she has had on the team, and how cross country helps prepare her for track in the spring.
