Joe Concra is Co-Founder and Executive Director of the O+ Festival, a three-day art and music event wherein artists barter their contributions directly for medical, dental, and other wellness services from art-loving health care providers. O+ builds community and helps revive struggling neighborhoods. The fourth annual O+ will take place in Kingston, NY, Oct. 11-13, 2013, and the first festival in San Francisco will be held Nov. 8-10, 2013.

Joe is also a fine artist and holds a MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. His paintings can be found in both private collections and museums, in the USA and Europe.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*
