Welcome awesome ladies and gentlemen to the second (2nd) of my newest and original special series entitled "Atari 5200 Unreleased Treasures", which actually pertain to some seriously damn excellent classic games for the Atari 5200 that SADLY never got a chance to be officially released to us at all due apparently to the Video Game Crash of 1984 that came in the USA from during that time... and that is just why I present to you this series indeed!!

Here, we check out a pretty excellent arcade conversion of Millipede for the Atari 5200, which I think also should have been released as well... this is such a FUN and truly damn addictive console game indeed that unfortunately fell by the wayside of the Video Game Crash right before its official release!! My two minor gripes about this game is that 1) the speed is noticably slower than the 1982 arcade original of this game; and 2) the extend bonuses are set to every 10,000pts. in this version, making the game technically a bit too easy in that you can rack up tons of extra lives quite efficiently, but that does not stop this game from being one of the finest unreleased gems on the 5200!!! ^-^=b !

This lost game find is now currently available officially from the Atari Age site, located beginning at:

Please enjoy this video right here, and there are even more rare unreleased treasures to come for that system indeed in my special series... don't miss it!!! ;)
