The Danish tenor Niels Hansen (1880-1969) sings "Che gelida manina" (Så kold den lille hånd er) from Puccini's opera "La Bohéme" (1896).
Niels Hansen made his debut at The Royal Danish Opera on November 27, 1909 as Rodolphe in "La Bohéme". As late as 1942 - when he was 58 - he still played the part at the Opera... and did well, according to the critics!
This recording - which unfortunately is a bit bad centered - was made in Copenhagen in 1914.
