This is the first part of a series about Dimensional Analysis. There is a brief introduction to the history of Dimensional Analysis and what are the two main methods: Buckingham and Nusselt methods. The comparison between these methods are presented. Nusselt's student, Ernst Schmidt and Schmidt's student E.R.G Eckert effected how the dimensional analysis is presently used. Example presented include wood from a tree and a falling ball (with and without resistance). For more information about the videos, books, tables, and calculators, please visit http://www.potto.org.
