Recent studies have shown that from 156 Kurds, 9 Haplogroups were found! The Haplogroups are bellow:

Haplogroup E: African
Haplogroup C: Middle Eastern or South Asian
Haplogroup K*: Western Asia
Haplogroup P1: Central Asia or Siberia
Haplogroup R1*: South Asia, Central Asia or Middle East
Haplogroup R1a1*: South Asia, Central Asia, Middle East or Eastern Europe
Haplogroup G*: Middle East or South-west Asia
Haplogroup J2*: Mesopotamian
Haplogroup I*: Europe or Asia Minor
