Solo project is more successful because money isn't split as much.
Gas is cheaper when don't need bus, van, or trailer.

Doesn't make a lot of money but lives his passion.
No expenses.
Lives with his parents, but is on the road 250 days out of the year.

Pursue your passion.
Terrifying to quit your job.
Define success for yourself.
Cut expenses down to the bare minimum.
Can't really afford rent when not at home most of the year.

Works with other musicians and friends to have their own label that helps with costs of
recording and merch.
Cross-pollinate with each others fans.

Not in it for yourself. Help other musicians. Network. Take care of each other.

Live shows and merch is the biggest income.
Next is digital downloads.

YouTube is powerful.
Especially when fans are uploading, too.

On the road can be tiring and invigorating.
Touring non-stop can wear you down.
Need to find balance.
Vehicle problems can suck the life out of your tour.

Find the balance between touring and time for yourself and family.

Positive mindset drives your success.
Focus on the beautiful and positive.

Wealth and material success isn't the point.
Material possessions aren't what it's about.

Be careful of those you hang with.
Surround yourself with people that support you and help you with your goals.
