'Voices Green and Purple' by the Bees, released on the Liverpool label from Los Angeles in 1966, some copies with a picture sleeve that looks like a '70s punk artwork. This is one of the truly great, wild, demented, genius pieces of mid '60s garage and it only lasts 90 seconds. Apparently the song was about watching weird movies on late night TV. A note on the PS reads "(For best results listen to this in total darkness)". The B side, 'Trip to New Orleans' is also good, but different sound. They were from Covina, a city about 20 miles east of Los Angeles.
