Participants: Jake Obiora, Tianna Barefoot, Max Wolf
Rifco Arts led three workshops with young people in the Watford area, exploring the relationships between the three genres (Dance, Drama and Digital). The participants created their own 30 second -- one minute film which will then be developed into a digital backdrop for a professional production of 'Break Da Floorboards'. The groups created a short film using digital technology. They learnt how to create a storyboard and each took a leading role in one aspect of film making -- Directing, Choreographing, Editing, Marketing etc.
Participants learnt new digital skills; social, language and leadership skills along with building confidence and self esteem.
