Puffing Billy provides a quality service of care and education for early childhood. From babies, toddlers to pre school children up to the age of 5 years.
Our after school services also include the OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) programme for children 5 years to 14 years.
Whatever your needs are we will try to accommodate them. The Centre is privately owned and operated, it has been in operation since 1987.
Here at Puffing Billy we have it all, our warm, and happy baby play area caters for children 0-30 months Safe floor play areas and individual sleep facilities are provided and teachers are committed to giving cuddles, reassurance and kind words ensure each child is treated with utmost care and respect.
Our young children are offered an introduction to creative play activities that include art, music, sand and water. Our Day Care Centre has a separate playground for our under 21 months.We also assist parents with toilet training for their children .
At Puffing Billy transition to the over toddlers/ pre-school area is carried out so that children happily move from the baby area with the support of teachers in both areas, this process is a gradual one. We assist parents and caregiver with toilet training.
Let us help you with the "terrible twos!" When a child reaches 2 years of age they are normally ready to transition into the pre school area.This environment provides children with small group settings where they can develop their self help skills, physical and language skills under the guidance of teachers. Children join in group mat time in the morning and afternoon where slightly more structured activities are offered.
