In the Weekly Republican Address, House Republican Conference Vice-Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) discusses the failure and lack of leadership behind the president's budget proposal for the 2013 fiscal year. His budget pretends to cut spending that's already enacted into law, and he fails to address the true economic challenges our country faces every day. House Republicans have a plan, and we're working to help boost our economy by cutting government spending and reducing burdensome regulations for small businesses. Learn more at http://jobs.gop.gov

The "new tricks" you speak of are a crock of crap.

Shrink government, get rid of the Federal reserve, implement tort reform in every state, reduce welfare to only those who cannot do for themselves, learn to EARN instead of taking demeaning handouts, and realize that there will ALWAYS be poor because equality is a "lala-land ideal" that will never happen. The Constitution guarantees equal RIGHTS for all, NOT social or economic justice. Term limits for all politicians, and quit expecting the government to do everything for us. Wake up.

Sure... That ends the lesson that I wasn't able to teach to a retard, or in this case an old person that can't learn new tricks

WHAT Republican bubble are you talking about? I'm not a Republican. Never have been. I voted Dem for 40 years until I discovered what a "Progressive" is. It's Socialism. Where is it in the Constitution that guarantees "equality"? 85% of college grads can't find a job now. They should have gone to a trade school. We as a nation are forking over too much to the "poor". I was poor but worked my ass off at whatever I could all my life. Didn't borrow, instead, I did without, saved, planned ahead.

Those people are unemployed, If you were out of the republican bubble and lived in a main city like Chicago. You would know it is impossible to have everyone employed. Everyone isn't born into equality. And that's why it is necessary to have a welfare system. It's not like the people on welfare are really enjoying anything, that's why they're known as low-class. The welfare helps some people rise to go to college or get a good job. You really have no idea it's kind of sad

Alright Josh!!! Glad you have turned from the "dark side" and cut the vulgarity! Thank you. I really do appreciate it. Now, as to taxes being equal and "FAIR", what about the 40-50% of our citizens who pay no taxes at all? In fact, they get money back. Everybody who votes should pay taxes, no matter how small the amount. If you are eligible to vote and elect those who tax us, you absolutely should PAY taxes right along with the middle class and the rich. Now that's real "fair".

Look into it more... But his main goal is to eliminate the tax loopholes like the charity taxes, and have everyone pay an equal tax which of course is fair. Don't you understand that the politicians (mainly republicans) are using the excuse to "never raise taxes" for "everyone" when instead Obama is aiming for the ridiculously rich to pay about the same percentage of everyone else? Inform yourself better please, it seems like your letting them deceive you

Mitt Romney disclosing income of $21.7 million in 2010 and $20.9 million last year — virtually all of it profits, dividends or interest from investments. The couple gave away $7 million in charitable contributions over the past two years, For 2011, Romney estimates that he will pay about $3.2 million, for an effective rate of 15.4 percent. So what percentage is "fair"? The IRS is SUING that tax-cheat Buffet to collect what taxes he owes. So Obama's goofy Buffet rule? Pffffffft.

Go back to like the first comment, you have nothing to back up my claim in having an equal tax rate for everyone. Everyone will have equality the rich shouldnt be taxed a lesser percentage, they're not even asking for it. I don't even need to argue about it. Obama is trying to pass it as I type this. It's called the Buffett rule or something like that. Inspired by Warren Buffett. So your conservative bubble is kind of pointless and is currently losing.

Work, earn, invest and save. Capitalism is my middle name. And I do not depend on the damned government to do it for me. "Retarded", "ignorance" .....there you go again with the abusive rhetoric. THAT defines you. It tells everyone that YOU cannot carry on a debate without it, and it belies your claim to superior intellect. My IQ in case you were wondering is Mensa level. I know arguing with fools is a fools errand, but I couldn't help being curious about you. Be nice. Grow up.
