As a healthcare company, Novartis recognizes that employees are an integral part of the company's success and a healthy workforce underpins business growth. The "Be Healthy" initiative, first introduced in 2011, has expanded this year to include more than 95% of Novartis associates across 140 countries. This first company-wide health and well-being program provides a platform for managing health, promoting lifestyle changes and encouraging associates to increase physical exercise and make healthy eating choices. Be Healthy is an internal initiative for the benefit of Novartis associates.
