Get ready 'cause you're going to see a lot more of your favorite comic book heroes leap off the page in 3-D. We have the details coming up...

Hey guys, welcome back to Clevver Movies. I'm Amanda Janner in our Beverly Hills studio.

Following the success of 3-D films like Avatar and Alice in Wonderland, Marvel Studios says the team considered making Iron Man 2 three-dimensional, but there just wasn't enough time in post-production.

However, the studio has three films in the works over the next two years: Thor, First Avenger: Captain America, and The Avengers. 3-D is in consideration for each, but nothing is confirmed. Thor is already in production, so it would have to be converted to 3-D in post. Captain America and The Avengers have not yet started filming, so there is still the option of shooting those movies with 3-D cameras.

Other films are jumping on the 3-D bandwagon, including Stretch Armstrong and Spider-Man.
