In 2001, four Lemur heads by Franz West were installed on top of the pylons at the Stubenbrück which are on view indefinitely. In Ancient Rome, Lemurs referred to the spirits of the dead. Franz West - according to an interview - saw in them Zombies after a hangover.
This video is made IN MEMORIAM TO FRANZ WEST (16 February 1947 -- 25 July 2012) - an amazing artist who just died upon my temporary arrival in Vienna.
