Subconscious Mind -- http://www.noahhammond.com "If you do not program yourself, life will program you." -- Les Brown

Today, we'll talk about how you can program and take control of your sub-conscious mind. Because, like I said in the introduction, if you do not program yourself, life is going to program you.

Unfortunately, the dominant vibration on this planet is NEGATIVE. Most people talk a lot more about what does NOT work; why you can't do it, why you are not smart enough, cool enough, hot enough, attractive enough, thin enough or good enough.

If you want to be programmed with that, cool... Don't do any conscious programming of yourself and you will walk around being a VICTIM.

But since you are watching this video, I think you are here to learn how to program your sub-conscious mind. So, let's get into that instead.

The Subconscious Mind -- Programmed in the Early Stages of Life

It's important to understand a couple of important things about the sub-conscious mind.

One is that it is mostly programmed by the time we are six or seven years old. Most of your current programming -- the way you currently process life- have been induced while you were very young.

Another important thing to know is that the sub-conscious mind is responsible for about ninety-five percent of your life, of the actions you take, the thoughts you think, etc.

Your sub-conscious mind is DOMINATING your life and again, it is fully-programmed by the time you were six or seven years old.

Almost entirely, how your life looks and who you are comes from decisions you have made based on experiences you've had from the age of six years old and younger, unless you go back in and consciously re-program.

The other important thing to understand is that the sub-conscious mind does not speak in words. It has no idea what words mean. What it speaks in is EMOTION.

It speaks in a language of emotions.

Emotions like joy, happiness, bliss, love -- those are the sub-conscious mind saying "yes", "good", "awesome", and "alright".

Emotions like depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, worry -- those are the sub-conscious mind saying "no", "stop" and "I don't like that".

It's an emotional guidance system and it is the way it communicates with you.

If you would like to learn how to control this system in-depth and all about this system, I actually have a three-part video series about programming your emotions. So, make sure you check that out. It is in my channel and on my website at noahhammond.com.

How to Program Your Sub-Conscious Mind -- Connect with the Emotion

Today, we are going to talk about a couple simple ways to program your sub-conscious mind.

These are things that I know and have experienced personally.

Also, a lot of these and even more are found in my Instant Achievement Blueprint which is an entire book that I wrote on goal-setting and achievement. It is a five-step, cyclical process that will keep your life moving forward in all ways, at all times.

A big part of that is re-programming your sub-conscious mind.

If you like the advice I have here and would like to find out more of my tips for re-programming your sub-conscious mind and how to create any goal that you really, TRULY desire, it's all in that book. So, go check that out after this video.

Two of my favorite ways for re-programming the sub-conscious mind:

One is what I call the mirror exercise.

On my bathroom mirror, I've written affirmations. Right now, specifically, I have on:

"I love you" -- for creating lots of self-love

"I deserve my greatness" -- for creating lots of self-worth

"I am grateful" -- for creating lots and lots of gratitude.

The important thing to remember is that your sub-conscious mind does not speak in words but in EMOTIONS.

So, when I say these things to myself, which is pretty much every time I go into the bathroom for any reason, I look myself in the eye and I take a moment to CONNECT with myself. It is almost like opening the window to your sub-consciousness.

I even add kinesthetic to it. So, when I say "I love you", I smile. I put a little heart on my chest and say "I love you" or "I love myself". This is putting my kinesthetic into it which is also another part of the sub-conscious programming.

So I will say "I love myself", "I deserve my greatness" and "I am grateful". I will do that over and over again looking into my eyes one by one and really, DEEPLY connect to myself.

Then, I can feel the emotions that those bring -- the emotion of my self-love, the emotion of my self-worth and the emotion of complete gratitude...
