To increase your appetite by eating frequent, smaller meals. Don't eat until you're full, let that hunger carry over to your next meal. Make sure you track your calories and that you're macros are in check. Keep gym sessions short but intense. I used to be really skinny, 8 stone at age 24. 2 years on and I'm in better shape than ever. I'm only 157 Ibs nos, but that's fine for my height and much more than 128 lol.

Beer is a big no. I know it's tough since you are college age. But it makes a huge difference.

The stuff he put me on was called Methylcobalamin 5mg (66,666% B-12) which helps regulate but not increase metabolism. He also put me on fat limiting diet which reduced me to consuming only milk and protein fats (Lactose from milk, etc) and not synthetics like in fast food. These two coupled with FISH OIL helped alot. I'm now a healthy 195 and only have to lift 3 days a week to maintain a "nice" figure. Let me know if any of this helps for you. Love the channel.
