This video illustrates the barbell horn replacement procedure for the bench-scale ultrasonic liquid processor, BSP-1200. The system is designed for ultrasonic flow-through process optimization and medium-scale production. It is based on Barbell Horn Ultrasonic Technology, which permits constructing large-capacity ultrasonic liquid processors operating at high ultrasonic amplitudes, making it possible to bridge the gap between laboratory research and its industrial implementation. Some application examples include the production of nanoemulsions, nanocrystals and liposomes for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, ink, paint, coating, wood, metalworking, nanocomposite and fuel industries, as well as wastewater purification, plant oil extraction, beverage sterilization, production of biofuels, crude oil desulphurization, liquid degassing, cell disruption, and many more.
