I must confess that I love it when Christopher's opponents allow emotion to get the better of them while he sits there, cool as a cucumber, responding with logic.

A bloody genius...

People believe in God for one reason and one reason only: because it makes them feel good. Claiming that God can't be disproved is no more persuasive than claiming that leprechauns and unicorns can't be disproved just because it might make some people feel good to believe in those things. This is not merely a weak argument. It's no argument.
Matthew Carr
thanks, but why edit out Christopher being interrupted at the "suspension" "intervention" part? we are keen enough of mind to understand even with the interruption included. also, it shows how well Christopher keeps his cool.
everything points against it, and you know that ^^ your life starts when you're born, and you can only remember the parts since you gained consciousness. and when your braing goes bye-bye, then YOU, the person you are, will go bye-bye. as stephen hawking said, "heaven is a fairy story made for people afraid of the dark"
hitchens you are BRILLIANT!
Is this guy William Lane Craig?  He seems to think excess volume makes his argument cogent.  It's true because if it is true it's true.  What a lame pile of nonsense.
