There's tap dancing and then there's Rhythmic Circus, the percussive-dance phenomenon that electrifies audiences with its hard-hitting, rapid-fire tap, sidesplitting humor and finger-snapping tunes. Their show, Feet Don't Fail Me Now is spiced up with a variety of musical flavors enlivened by an infectious seven-piece band, vocalists, and a very unique, one-man, a cappella, beat-boxing sensation.
In their first 2 years of touring, Rhythmic Circus brought Feet Don't Fail Me Now to more than 80 cities in over 20 states and performed over 150 shows which included performances in the U.S. Virgin Islands as well as a tour to Europe with a stop at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
The ensemble of Feet Don't Fail Me Now was recently highly recognized at the Sage Awards. They won 2 categories for both Outstanding Performance and Outstanding Ensemble and have also been named the "Best Dance Performance" by City Pages.
Rhythmic Circus is the next generation of Broadway Tap and plans to open Off-Broadway in the fall of 2012.
