Across the country funding for arts education is being cut. So the Young Storytellers Foundation, a charity dedicated to providing arts mentorship to public schools that had to cut their programs, is finding a creative solution.

For a limited time they are matching donations with the chance to meet Lady Gaga backstage at the Born This Way Ball via a $10 raffle.

Omaze raises money and awareness for charity by offering the opportunity to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences that cannot be bought: everything from playing tennis with Andre Agassi to hanging out in the writer's room of Modern Family to spending a day with a Nobel Prize winning neuroscientist at MIT.

Instead of limiting these experience offerings to small groups of wealthy donors, Omaze democratizes the opportunity to win by offering everyone on the internet a chance to participate by donating just $10. By leveraging the social web to promote the experiences to a wider audience, Omaze helps its charity partners raise significantly more funds, increase awareness for their mission, and attract a whole new base of donors.

Young Storytellers Foundation believes arts education is a right, not a privilege. They go into Los Angeles public schools that lack the resources for an arts curriculum and provide writing mentorship for the students. Professional writers teach nine-week courses where the students write their own orignal plays which are then performed by professional actors in front of a live audience of friends and family.

Omaze + YSF:
In celebration of going back to school, YSF has launched a new campaign to provide 1000 new students with scholarships to their program. And in the spirit of creativity YSF aims to instill in our students, this campaign has a twist.

As a thank you for your support, over the next couple weeks YSF is partnering with Omaze to match donations with the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences that can't be bought.
