On September 2, 2016, protectors traveled to pray at construction site and found Dakota Access employees
unlawfully resuming construction on the
1,120-mile pipe through the treaty territory
of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. As land and water defenders approached in peaceful protection, contracted DAPL security officers unleashed viscious dogs and pepper spray on unarmed women, children, elderly and men.
Special thank you to the grass root filmmakers that contributed footage to this film.
