This seminar was drawn from the extensive experience of an expert panel including: Noel Curran, Director General of RTÉ; Kevin O'Sullivan, Editor of The Irish Times; Ann O'Dea, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Silicon Republic; and Brian Fallon, Director of Distilled Media Ltd. Panelists reflected on issues such as the response of media institutions to the deepening digital era.

They traced the changing landscape of news journalism and analysed the challenges facing traditional media from the perspective of the broadcasting, print and online media.

About the Speakers:

Noel Curran has been Director General of RTÉ, the most senior executive post in the organisation, since February 2011. As well as being the Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief, the Director General represents RTÉ both nationally and internationally.
