Making a mitered hem is easier than you think when you see it done. Video shows a few finished corners of tablecloths then a detail of actually mitering a corner. Captions are there for clarification. Video ends with close-up of a placemat and coasters front and back. The machine being used is Singer 216G zig-zag treadle sewing machine made in Germany about the late 1950s to early 1960s.
