China Central Television (CCTV) is to cooperate with Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) on news resources.
Representatives from the two sides signed a cooperation agreement Monday morning in Harare, capital of Zimbabwe.
Webster Shamu, Zimbabwean Media, Information and Publicity Minister, met with the delegation of China's State Administration of Radio File and Television led by Li Wei, deputy director of the administration, and attended the agreement signing ceremony.
During the talk both sides highly evaluated their wide and profound cooperation in radio, film and television fields in recent years.
China is an all-round partner of Zimbabwe. The agreement reached will make both peoples better understand each other and allow the international world see a true Zimbabwe, said Shamu.
The ZBC is the state-controlled broadcaster in Zimbabwe. It succeeded the Voice of Zimbabwe Rhodesia (VZR) in 1980.
