Rep. James Lankford (R-OK) appeared on the "Willis Report" with Gerri Willis to discuss the controversial Medicare Advantage demonstration program. This controversial program uses $8.3 billion of taxpayer dollars to conceal the impending $200 billion in scheduled cuts to Medicare Advantage created by the Affordable Care Act. Chairman Darrell Issa and Rep. James Lankford sent an initial request to HHS for explanation about how the fund would be used and received insufficient information despite numerous communication attempts over several months. This program is larger than the previous 85 demonstration projects combined. (October 18, 2012)
