In his first full-season as a starter, Jordan Hill racked up 59 tackles, 8 tackles-for-loss, 3.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 3 fumble recoveries and 2 pass breakups to earn honorable-mention All-Big10 recognition. He did much of the unsung dirty-work at the 1-technique, routinely taking on double-teams and holding strong at the point of attack to help anchor a Penn State unit that led the Big10 in scoring defense.

The former Steelton-Highspire HS standout enters the 2012 season as one of the top defensive tackles in the Big Ten and on the watch lists for both the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award.
