This is another test clip of a section of my particle physics demo short film for ANI480 Animation Production at DePaul University.
In this part I'm fine tuning my represention of a particle that has been ejected from a star. I used a lattice deformer to stretch a sphere and give it a trailing tail. Then it reforms into a sphere after escaping the star's gravitational field and continues traveling into space.
The star will be fine tuned later. I'm at the beginning stages of showing an artistic pulsing action in the light orange section. I'll make it look neater and more even around the edges so that in the end it looks as if it is spitting out multiple particles .
