The Trossachs Water Vole Project is commited to the protection of water voles in the Cowal and Trossachs district. This is achieved through the monitoring of the current water vole population, creation of suitable wetland habitat and controlling the spread of American mink in the area. The project is supported by three partners, The Forestry Commission Scotland, the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.
