Presentation by Martin Palmer, Alliance of Religions and Conservation. When we talk about conservation science we're already melding conservation biology with other scientific disciplines. But what about crossing broader disciplinary and sector boundaries to achieve greater success? What is on the horizon, and what can we learn and adopt from other sectors to achieve more efficient, effective outcomes?

Palmer is Secretary General of the Alliance of Religions and Conservation, a secular, non-governmental body founded in 1995 by HRH Prince Philip. ARC helps the major religions of the world to develop environmental programs based on their own core teachings, beliefs and practices.

WWF is always looking for new ways to advance the scientific foundation that supports our global conservation work. Learn more about the Fuller Symposium and the Kathryn Fuller Science for Nature Fund: http://www.worldwildlife.org/science/...
