"My inspiration came from an all-American fashion staple -- blue jeans! My design combines the classic silhouette and detailing of the Allen Edmonds Park Avenue with iconic, American-made selvedge denim from Cone Denim Mills. I named the shoe The Seventh Avenue in honor of New York's Fashion Avenue and the home of the School of Fashion at Parsons The New School for Design. The design features un-rinsed, indigo-dyed, selvedge denim that will achieve a personalized patina unique to every customer. With exposed selvedge highlighting the traditional cap toe and the center back seam allowance of the heel, the Seventh Avenue exemplifies classic American design."
