PatientPowered.us Wins First Place in Matchmaking App Challenge

Sean Ahrens, first place winner of PCORI's Matchmaking App Challenge, walks you through PatientPowered.us, an open-source, mobile-friendly, online app.

As the app's developer, Ahrens won $100,000 in the contest aimed at supporting ready-to-use web-based or smartphone-based apps that spur collaborations among patients, caregivers, clinicians, and other stakeholders interested in health research and with clinical researchers.
