Cory was one of four children I worked with every day after school during the fall of 2012. If you listen carefully, you'll hear Desmond and Robert encouraging him in the background. Corey's mom saw the difference in his reading performance and his attitude the very first time he demonstrated it for her. You can see by his smile that reading, instead of being like a trip to the dentist, is now fun for him. He was so proud of himself, he went voluntarily down to the principal's office and read a story for her.
note - The "witch's finger" is an easy way to get kids to track each word .
