Big data can give organisations deep insight into their customers and the ability to identify patterns to predict future behaviour, but this has been complex for many organisations. New cloud-based services, such as Google's Big Query tool, allow users to analyse massive sets of data cheaply and quickly. In this video, PA smart expert Paul Craig explores how organisations can benefit from these new tools, through an example, where with the permission of the NHS, PA was able to upload anonymous patient activity approaching a billion units of data.
