If you remove someone's ability to purchase a new phone at subsidized pricing, that is the same thing as forcing them out of their unlimited data plan. With the way technology moves, the iPhone is obsolete in 2 years, and a dinosaur in 4 years. An unsubsidized iPhone is typically $600-$800.

Call this number, (800) 922-0204. We need to fight this before it is too late. You think SOPA was bad, this is worse. It nickle and dimes the consumer for every bit that is transferred to and from your cell phone. It limits the growth of the mobile market and discourages the consumer from using their smartphone to it's full potential.

Here are some of the Cons with data caps,
1. you are paying for ads to be displayed on your device,
2. it is very hard to determine how much data a webpage uses to load on your device,
3. the caps are too low for the speed available, 30Mbps down and 15Mbps up is faster than 99% of home connections. Comcast had a 250GB cap with 20Mbps down and 4Mbps up. Why is 10GB the max package Verizon offers?

This is only helping Verizon increase revenue. It isn't designed to lower bills or save the consumer money.
