Huge crowd of kids participate in the Calf Scramble at the Beaver Creek Rodeo on June 28. Calves have ribbons tied to their tails and prizes are awarded to kids who manage to get the ribbons off. What a spectacle and a great way to tire out the kiddos!
The Beaver Creek Rodeo at Traer Creek takes place on Thursdays in Avon, Colorado throughout the summer. Full line-up of events include bronc riding, team roping, mutton bustin', barrel racing, bull riding and burro racing. There are also plenty of family activities like pony rides, face painting, mechanical bull, BBQ and more.
