Alan Mendoza, President of the Henry Jackson Initiative, made opening remarks for Panel 1, "Long Term Investing," at the event "Inclusive Capitalism: What Business and Labor Can Do for Quality Employment," held at the Peterson Institute on January 14, 2013. Panelists included Dominic Barton, Global Managing Director of McKinsey and Company, and James Leech, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, CEO of E.L. Rothschild, chaired the discussion. The event, cohosted with the Henry Jackson Initiative (HJI), was held to discuss how business and labor can make a difference to employment and wage outcomes to build globally sustainable capitalism.
