It's been a powder-filled 24-hours in Steamboat, as Mother Nature paid an extended visit to Ski Town, U.S.A.® with more than half of a foot of snow falling in the past 24-hours. Snow levels dropped down into town (6,300 feet) and 7 inches of snow accumulated at mid-mountain at the Steamboat Ski Area. Forecast call for snow to continue over the northern mountains as another system moves through the area producing snow and cooler temperatures. The Steamboat Ski Area kicks off its 50th Anniversary season on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
